ZF Hungary: German capital, Hungarian company

- The Hungarian subsidiary company's purchase took place quickly: three months filled up with the birth of the purchase intention the signature of the contract. The principal reason of this was that we were in a business relationship with the Eger ones early, and we knew that they are their manufacturer equipments though not the most modern ones, but they have much more important treasures at this: the qualification, the professional experience and the creativity. I say that ZF Hungary is a Hungarian company with a German capital always! Indeed, I go on: our suppliers' forty percentages Hungarian, and more of our international delivering partners settled down near our depot, founding a Hungarian subsidiary company.

- Can they meet the requirements in everything?

- Of course. We would not be successful otherwise. We develop our products in parallel with with the increase of the customers' claims and they his quality. We renew our machine park continuous the most modern producer with equipments. We pay a big attention to training our employees. In our developer centre continuous the work: already not only the lorry with traditional manual switching, coach, and we plan the new types of little commercial vehicle bills and we test it in Eger, but the automated variants. We draw what the customer orders up. Developed a type in the serial number ordered by it for him if it is satisfied with a result and we manufacture it in timing. 2008 the year of the quality at us: we strive for it with this, that our colleagues' attention at what let us send it onto this crucial area well.

- Which vehicle manufacturers are their most important customers?

- All business partners are important to us. Our customers MAN, Leyland, Volvo Truck, Scania, Iveco, Renault, and Nissan, and we prepare contracts with newer firms. Our 2007 income was better with 16 percentages at the 2006 one. We plan another 20 percentile increases this year. We spend 30 million euros on the firm and the machine park carrying out product development in 2008. New working onto equipments and onto mechanic rows we have need, that let us be allowed to satisfy the orders. We develop the constructor team, and we expand the pilot plant where the building of the new types and his testing happen.

- The competition, which poses a challenge to the companies continuous, is sharp on the vehicle industrial market. How does ZF Hungária Kft increase his competitiveness?

- We developed international division of labour working well in the course of the past years ZF syndicate in the branch of a commercial vehicle the centre of which Eger is. Our factories, our sections carrying out product development affect Germany, in France, in Spain, in United States, in Brazil. We try to be near to our customers, in a geographical sense. This from many viewpoints simplifies it and makes the cooperation more efficient one. We plan the formation of new depots in Asia now, the binding of cooperation contracts. Because of that, that Japanese, Korean, Chinese and our tendril connections at what let us be allowed to serve it well. Our network's development entails many travels. I am myself on a road continuous quasi.

- Twelve of his years live on Hungary. On a what kind of language does he communicate with his colleagues?

- In German and in English. Onto businessmen's and engineers' number the knowledge of the languages does not mean a problem to these. I unfortunately, I speak only little in Hungarian, but I was worth the language rather well. My wife is Hungarian. Our two small sons though in Hungarian and is top notch well equally in German, and speaks all two languages. We reside in Eger. The small ones go to a Hungarian kindergarten - that ZFH foundation runs for our employees -, and the primary school is made here then away. I envy them. I am proud of them at the same time because they find their way in two cultures simultaneously cosily.
